Superplasticizer with Retarder
International terminology – 1) Retarding super plasticizers.
Retarding superplasticizers significantly reduce the water requirement of concrete, achieving consistency classes equal to or better than F4 while at the same time slowing the stiffening and hardening process. It belongs to the group of admixtures based on deep modification of calcium lignosulfonates (with no sugars and low air entering effect), improving the wetting of cement parts by water mixing.
As a result, a homogeneous concrete is formed, cement is characterized by low internal forces and with better workability of the mixture.
The retarding superplasticizer’s composition does not contain alkali harmful to alkali-aggregate reaction, has a better inhibition effect to the alkali-aggregate reaction, and has the advantages of high water reducing rate.
