Chlorinated Rubber Paint
A strong and resilient thermoplastic resin, chlorinated rubber is a soluble yet incombustible material; the chlorine content makes it both versatile and extremely robust. For coatings, medium-viscosity rubbers are used, meaning that the resulting paint is thick but air-drying. Please note that chlorinated rubber paint is not a rubberized paint. Chlorinated rubber paint is a general purpose and hard wearing paint used for interior and exterior applications with excellent chemical and abrasion resistance. This paint is ideal where conditions require a degree of chemical and water resistance so typical situations would include dairy parlors, catteries, kennels, road crossings, swimming pools, manhole covers, metal or concrete posts and metal tanks. It is also excellent for road markings where high visibility and durability is a must. This type of paint is quite thick in substance, so requires a relatively thin coating, with only one or two applications. Applied well, chlorinated rubber paint will stand up to wear and tear for years to come, with a color that endures in even the harshest of environments. It can be painted on a variety of surfaces, including metal, concrete, road surfaces and manhole covers, and dries within a matter of hours.
